Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund

Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund is an established and trusted health care scheme in Namibia. Renaissance Health is the first step to caring for your health.

Founded over 25 years ago, the fund offers quality & innovative services to suit the health care needs of Namibians from Windhoek to all corners of Namibia. Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund was established in October 2003, in compliance with conditions for good corporate governance set by the industry regulator, the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa). In terms of regulations, a medical aid fund must be a non-profit organisation, which belongs to its members. Namfisa requires that an independent Board of Trustees be set up by each medical aid company. The Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund Board of Trustees has years of experience and skill to manage the Fund in the best interest of the members. We aim to provide high quality, cost effective medical aid products to all our members. Our philosophy is based on caring for you and your loved ones, providing you with peace of mind. The name Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund signifies a new era in healthcare. Our aim is to deliver affordable healthcare products to all Namibians, with a wide product offering, catering from lower to upper income groups. Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund’s day to day operations are administered by Prosperity Health Namibia.

Family isn't always defined by blood.

Sometimes, family is the niece you raise, the nephew you care for, the
grandchild you protect, or a child who has become part of your home.

At RMA, we recognise that families come in many forms.

That’s why RMA allows for informal fostering arrangements helping
you provide healthcare support for the children you care for.

Because healthcare should support the families we have not just the
families on paper.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a community. And behind many stories of recovery is someone who took the time to listen.

Today, we remember those we've lost and recommit to supporting those who may be struggling quietly.

Reach out. Check in. Ask twice. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone cares can make a difference.

If you or someone you know needs support, LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia offers free, confidential counselling.

Call +264 61 232 221, or 116 toll-free for children.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

This year's theme is about changing the narrative: replacing silence with honest conversations and stigma with support.

So this month, we're talking. About checking in on the people we love, starting honest conversations, and recognising that support may be closer than we realise.

Keep an eye on this page. We have some honest conversations coming your way.

If you or someone you know needs support, LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia offers free, confidential counselling.

Medical aid should go beyond the expected.

Because life doesn’t always follow a standard path, your healthcare shouldn’t have to either.

At RMA, we believe medical aid should do more than cover the essentials. It should provide added support, flexibility and benefits designed around the realities of life and the people who matter most.

From extended medical benefits to support for families in different circumstances, RMA is designed to go further.
