The 3Cs of Champions.

The C of Commitment: Until you become committed, you cannot be elevated.
Untill you become committed, you can never be taken serious. Commitment is a catalyst that spur one to greatness.
Every greatness you see today and is being celebrated today, started from that person being committed to his or her endeavours.

The C of Consistency: There is nothing failure hates more than Consistency. Consistency is one of the most potent weapon against stagnancy.
A consistent man is a powerful man.
A consistent woman is an unstoppable woman.

The C of Confidence: Consistency breeds confidence. Confidence comes when you are no longer afraid to fail because you have in the past tried and failed but never gave up.
Confidence can distinguish you, confidence can elevate you, confidence can inspire you.

First become committed, endeavour to be consistent with your commitment, then you will have the confidence which will distinguish you.

Nice one DCL Eye Clinic team

Ophthalmia neonatorum also known as neonatal conjunctivitis is a kind of eye condition that usually occur in the first 30 days of a baby's life.

Newborns usually do contract this from their mother during vaginal delivery and most often is caused by Bacteria(Neisseria Gonorrhea, Staphylococcus aureus), Chlamydia trachomatis, Virus(Herpes simplex virus) or chemical conjunctivitis(from eyedrops)

Anytime you see this kind of discharge in your newborn, please take that child to a registered Eye clinic/hospital, for your child to be properly examined.

Breast milk, urine, kerosene and even alcohol etc must never come in contact with your children's eyes no matter what.

Lastly, avoid self medication by all means.

Great job done. Thank you DCL Eye Clinic team.

Great job done.

Thank you DCL Eye Clinic team.

Redness of the eye, is a very vital symptom you must never neglect when it comes to preventing vision loss.

Sudden redness of the eye can manifest in the presence of certain eye conditions/habits namely:

Acute Angle Closure Glaucoma, anterior uveitis, allergic reactions, Dry eye syndrome, eye injury, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, discomfort from contact lens usage, scleritis, subconjunctival haemorrhage etc.

Seeing the list of conditions we listed above, the best way to handle a case of sudden redness of your eyes is not embarking on the journey of self medication but visiting an eye clinic for proper examination, so that the right diagnosis and the right treatment will be given to you.

Therefore, once your eye(s) or that of children's turns red suddenly, endeavour to visit an eye clinic immediately.

The image below is one of the cases of anterior uveitis we managed in our clinic.
