Last Saturday, August 22, Doowuese Elizabeth Shiaondo was a guest on our Monthly Personal Development Series, where she spoke on the theme “Unlocking African Leadership Opportunities.”

As the State Coordinator of YALI Network, Benue State, she shared practical insights on leadership, personal development and the opportunities available to young Africans who are intentional about developing themselves and making meaningful contributions to their communities.

The session was an engaging and insightful conversation that challenged participants to look beyond their immediate circumstances, recognise opportunities and take deliberate steps towards becoming more effective leaders.

At Psycon, we remain committed to creating spaces where young people can learn, grow, connect and become better equipped for the future.

A big thank you to Doowuese Elizabeth Shiaondo for sharing her knowledge and experience with us, and to everyone who joined the session.

A new Head of Programs

We’re excited to announce the appointment of Afam Terna as the new Head of Programs at Psycon Consultancy Firm

What makes this announcement even more special is that Afam is not just joining the team, she was once a mentee of the I Can Mentorship Program, Psycon's flagship initiative. She came through the I Can Program, experienced the journey, grew through it, and is now returning to help shape that same journey for other young women.

From being mentored to leading programmes. From receiving the vision to helping carry it forward.

We’re incredibly proud of how far she has come and excited about all that lies ahead. We have no doubt that her experience, passion and understanding of the I Can journey will bring something truly special to this role.
