The day you receive a diagnosis is rarely the day the disease begins.
One of the biggest mindset shifts in Lifestyle Medicine is recognising that many chronic diseases develop silently over years before they are diagnosed.
By the time someone is told they have Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or even experiences a stroke, important biological changes have often been taking place for a long time.
The encouraging news is that our daily habits also influence those biological processes.
We may not be able to control every risk factor, but we can make choices that support better health—one meal, one walk, one good night's sleep at a time.
This was the central message of my recent masterclass, Inflammation: The Disease Before the Disease.

If you'd like to understand the science behind chronic inflammation and learn practical, evidence-based ways to reduce your risk of chronic disease, the replay is a great place to start.
And if you're looking for personalised support to build healthier habits around your busy schedule, I'd be happy to explore that with you during a Discovery Call.
