In the room today where Cross River's future was being discussed — representing our youth, carrying their voices.

3 years of Governor Otu reviewed. My question as always: what reaches the young people?

IYEI was present. Our communities were represented. 🙌🏾

🌍 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Expo | Building Trust, Infrastructure, Inclusion and Policy for a Borderless Economy. DAY 1

It was both a privilege and a responsibility to attend the 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Expo an extraordinary gathering of minds committed to reshaping the regulatory and technological landscape across our continent.

As the Executive Director of Inle's Youth Empowerment Initiative an organization dedicated to addressing deviant behavior among young people, this conference reinforced a truth we live by every day: systemic change begins with policy, and policy must be built on trust.

The conversations around financial inclusion, digital infrastructure, and cross-border governance are not distant from the realities our youth face. Many of the deviant behaviors we work to address fraud, cybercrime, substance abuse, and social misconduct are deeply rooted in exclusion, lack of opportunity, and weak institutional frameworks. A borderless economy built on the right regulatory foundation is one that leaves fewer young people behind.

I return with renewed vision, sharper insights, and a stronger commitment to bridging the gap between regulatory innovation and youth development in Africa.

To my fellow advocates, policymakers, and youth workers — the future we are building demands our active participation. Let us not watch from the sidelines.

Follow and support the work of Inle's Youth Empowerment Initiatives as we continue to transform lives, one young person at a time.

Everyone, especially cultists, must learn something from yesterday’s fight between Portable (Eiye) and Carter Efe (a non-cultist). It was a legal match attended by peaceful cultists, responsible businessmen, and celebrities like Timaya, D’banj, Emoney, Kcee, Abu Abel, Tunde Perry, Nasboi, MC Lively, Soso Soberekon (who has been heavily involved in events like this), among many others. The atmosphere was peace, business, and entertainment. Even when Portable echoed Haba-Kryer, no Eiye member responded because they recognized peace over violence. A fight happened, money was made, and nobody d!£d - that is the real message.

If a celebrity cultist like Portable can step into a ring with a non-cultist and turn violence into value, then what exactly is stopping others? Why spill bl00d on the streets for nothing when the same energy can be turned into something productive? Cult-related violence brings no gain - only pain, fear, and wasted lives. The hit squads risking their lives for nothing need to rethink. Despite all the k**lings over the years, no group is stronger than the other. This proves that strength is not shown by who d!£s, but by what you build from it.

Let sponsors organize more controlled fights, and *Inles youth empowerment initiative* will support them financially when it involves none cultists on both sides. Let rival groups face each other in the ring, not on the streets. Let Aye face Eiye, Buccaneers face Vikings, Maphite face KK, and so on - not with weapons, but with rules, discipline, and an audience. Let members from all sides gather not for revenge, but for competition, money, and survival. Let enemies meet in daylight, exchange respect, love, and walk away alive. Nigeria needs a new narrative where conflict brings income, not funerals. Let the streets rest, and let the ring decide.

We Don't Just Talk About Change. We Build It. 🌍

Every day, thousands of young people across our communities are swallowed by drug abuse, trafficking, and a system that doesn't speak for them.

We started **Inle's Youth Empowerment Initiatives** because we refused to watch silently.

We work with youth on the ground — addressing drug abuse, indecent dressing, exam malpractice, cyber crime, cultism & trafficking.

And we advocate loudly for good governance and youth inclusion.
