Cochlear implant surgeries are currently ongoing in Lagos, Nigeria, and this is the team making it happen. Behind every procedure is a team that shows up with precision, purpose, and heart.

We are also have Prof. Mehanna, ENT surgeon and mentor from Egypt, lending his expertise alongside our team.

The 34th Annual Regional Scientific Congress 2026, held from 14th–16th May 2026, was a great success filled with impactful discussions, learning, networking, and memorable moments. 🎉

Organized by the Kenya Ear Nose and Throat Socienty (KENTS) under the theme “ENT Frontiers: Redefining Otorhinolaryngology Care Through Advancements in Technology,” the congress brought together professionals dedicated to advancing ENT and hearing healthcare.

MED-EL was proud to participate as a delegate, sharing knowledge on Cochlear Implants and showcasing how innovative hearing solutions continue to transform lives through better hearing and communication. ❤️👂

These children have walked journeys most of us will never fully understand. Through patience, courage, and the power of hearing technology, they found their voices, and they haven’t stopped since.

They are not defined by where they started. They are celebrated for how far they’ve come.

A successful Cochlear Implantation Workshop! 🎧✨

The Cochlear Implantation Workshop held on 10th & 11th May 2026 at Serena Hotel, Nairobi Kenya was a great success, bringing together ENT surgeons, Audiologists and Speech Therapists from across the region.

MED-EL was proud to participate by engaging with professionals, sharing insights on Cochlear Implant technology, supporting discussions on hearing rehabilitation, and contributing to the advancement of Cochlear Implantation services in East Africa. 🌍🔊
