Part of why social media overwhelms me is because everyone seems duplicitous. And many things are recycled. Sometimes I see something and I know for a fact that it’s just for content and there’s no soul in it.

I honestly wonder why everyone is pursuing virality and infamy. It’s just one template everyone is forcing into. That creates an emptiness. Then, you start to lose yourself convinced you’re finding it.

That’s one reason why I always perform a disappearing act from social media once every while. I have been off social media for almost a year until recently (my SMM was posting graphics occasionally but I didn’t open social media even once).

Why? I felt like I wasn’t making any difference. The same old basic things like waist trainer and concoctions were still getting popular instead of getting boycotted. And bigger accolades were given to creators that sell lies. It felt like an endless loop and I just gassed out temporarily because regardless of how many videos I make to reform this space, I wasn’t sure I was making any meaningful impact. That’s the drawback of doing things out of passion: you take it too personally.

Unlike many other creators, I don’t make my primary income from social media so thankfully, I am not a slave to the time churn. I can post when I feel like and disappear when I feel like.

Now I am back again and as always, I am not on a schedule so when I truly have something to say is when I will post.

And when I feel overwhelmed, I will disappear again. No lele.

Knowing your biological origins matters for your health. Family history helps doctors identify your risk of inherited conditions like some cancers, heart disease and genetic disorders. It also guides medical decisions, screening tests and even organ or blood donation.
Another issue people rarely talk about is genetic sexual attraction (GSA). This is when close biological relatives, separated at birth or unaware they’re related, meet later in life and mistake a strong biological attraction for romantic love. It’s one of the reasons donor records, proper regulation and age-appropriate disclosure matter, especially when one donor has many biological children.
Male infertility is far more common than many people realize, yet it is still heavily stigmatized. That silence pushes many families into secrecy. We need to reduce the shame around infertility while also improving regulation, record-keeping and transparency for donor-conceived children. Hello everyone, I don’t do this frequently but this one is really close to my heart.

I know Uchenna personally, and seeing him go through this has been heartbreaking. He’s such a lively, happy child with so much energy and so many dreams ahead of him. The kind of child that lights up a room with his smile.

Right now, he’s battling a thyroid cyst and urgently needs surgery. His family is doing all they can, but the cost is more than they can handle alone.
