Swollen face and legs during pregnancy? 🤰🏽
Some swelling can be normal during pregnancy, especially later in pregnancy, as your body holds more fluid and your growing baby puts pressure on your circulation.
But sudden or severe swelling, especially in your face or hands, can sometimes be a warning sign of pre eclampsia.
🚨 If swelling appears suddenly or comes with a severe headache, blurred vision, pain under your ribs, or feeling very unwell, contact your maternity team urgently.
