If you've been trying to conceive, you've probably heard it.

"Stop thinking about it."

"Just relax."

"It will happen."

Those words are often said with good intentions.

But they can make someone who's already hurting feel as if they're being blamed for their struggle.

Yes, managing stress is good for your overall health.

But telling someone to "just relax" doesn't diagnose ovulation problems.

It doesn't treat blocked tubes.

It doesn't improve s***m health.

It doesn't explain endometriosis.

If someone shares their fertility struggle with you...

Don't rush to give easy answers.

Sometimes the greatest gift is simply listening.

What's the most unhelpful fertility advice you've ever received?

Let's help each other feel understood.

Has your period stopped or become irregular?

Many women become worried and immediately think, "I'm in menopause," especially if they're over 40.
While menopause is one possible reason, it is not the only one.

If your period has stopped for months or has become irregular, it's important to find out why instead of assuming the cause.

Several conditions can affect your menstrual cycle, including:
• Hormonal imbalance
• Low estrogen levels
• PCOS
• Untreated infections
• Chronic inflammation
• Asherman syndrome (scar tissue in the uterus, often after surgery or a D&C)
• Thyroid disorders
• Significant stress or sudden weight changes

The good news is that the right treatment depends on the right diagnosis. That's why it's important to understand the underlying cause rather than make assumptions.

If someone had told me years ago that one supplement would become part of my fertility journey after 7 years of trying, I probably wouldn’t have believed them.

At 44 years old, every decision felt important. I knew I couldn’t leave my fertility to chance, so I focused on giving my body the support it needed.

The truth is, supplements are not magic, but the right ones can support egg quality, reduce oxidative stress, and help prepare your body for conception when combined with the right lifestyle and medical guidance.

If you’re on your own TTC journey, don’t just ask “What worked for someone else?” Ask, “What does my body need?”

💙 Every fertility journey is different, but hope is never out of place.

Every single time I say this, people argue with me.

If you can afford IVF, you CAN afford to invest in preparing your body too.

And no, I’m not talking about wasting money.

I’m talking about giving yourself the best possible chance before spending millions on another cycle.

Think about it this way: if you’re already investing so much in IVF, why skip the things that may help optimize your body’s readiness? Things like addressing inflammation, improving blood flow to the reproductive organs, supporting egg quality where appropriate, and making sure the uterine environment is as healthy as possible.

Preparation isn’t a guarantee of success—but for many people, it’s a worthwhile part of the process.

I know not everyone will agree, and that’s okay.

But if I were spending millions on IVF, I’d want to know I’d done everything reasonably possible to prepare my body beforehand.

Would you postpone your IVF for a few weeks or months to prepare your body first, or would you go ahead immediately?

Let’s discuss respectfully in the comments. 👇

Those words can be frightening.

"I think I'm infertile."

Many women reach that conclusion after a few difficult months.

But fertility challenges can have many different causes, and not every delay means permanent infertility.

Sometimes it's irregular ovulation.

Sometimes it's a thyroid condition.

Sometimes it's endometriosis.

Sometimes it's male-factor infertility.

Sometimes the cause isn't immediately clear and needs further evaluation.

That's why guessing can create unnecessary fear.

If you've been trying to conceive, don't label yourself before you have answers.

Ask questions.

Learn about your body.

Seek appropriate medical guidance if you've been trying for an extended period, especially based on your age and individual circumstances.

A delay deserves attention.

It doesn't automatically define your future.

A lot of people believe that once they see a very low AMH result, their chances of getting pregnant are over.

That wasn’t my story.

My AMH was just 0.2, and while I couldn’t magically increase the number of eggs I had left, I realized I could still work on the quality of those eggs.

So instead of giving up, I started preparing my body.

I became intentional about my diet. I reduced inflammatory foods and focused on nourishing my body with foods that support fertility.

I took the right fertility supplements with antioxidants to help protect and support my egg cells like fertiBloom.

I also included fertility therapies to improve blood circulation to my reproductive organs, reduce inflammation, and create a healthier environment for conception.

Little by little, I gave my body the support it needed.

And eventually… I got pregnant.

Here’s something many people don’t realize: AMH tells us about egg quantity, not egg quality. A low AMH doesn’t automatically mean your eggs are poor quality or that pregnancy is impossible. While age and other factors can affect egg quality, supporting your overall health may help optimize the quality of the eggs you have.

If you’ve been told your AMH is low, don’t lose hope. Focus on the things you can improve. Sometimes, preparing your body before trying to conceive or before IVF can make a meaningful difference.

Have you ever been told your AMH is “too low”? Share your experience in the comments. 💙

Would you spend ₦3–10 million on IVF without preparing your body first? 🤔

YES or NO?

Drop your answer in the comments. 👇

IVF is a significant investment, and many people focus on the procedure itself while overlooking the importance of preparing their body beforehand. Supporting your health before treatment may help address factors such as inflammation, circulation, and overall wellness, which are important discussions to have with your fertility team.

If you’re planning IVF and want to learn how to prepare your body before your next cycle, send us a DM on 09022528771 with the word “IVF” or WhatsApp us to find out how our IVF Preparation Program can support you.
