Chukwu, Creator of all things seen and unseen, I greet this EKE morning with gratitude.
Ancestors of good name, custodians of honor and hard work, stand with us today.
May this EKE be a day when dedication receives its reward.
For those who remained faithful to their labor when others sought shortcuts,
for those who kept showing up when the harvest was not yet visible,
for those who respected the laws of the land and the laws of their Chi,
may today bring evidence that no sincere effort is wasted.
Let the footsteps of prosperity find our homes.
Let opportunities recognize us by name.
Let the sweat of our brows become blessings in our hands.
May no evil eye see our progress.
May no dishonest person inherit what we worked for.
May every good seed planted in patience return with abundance.
As the EKE sun rises, may Chukwu and the ancestors remember our obedience, reward our dedication, and open the gates of increase before us.
