Orie abiala, umunne m!
Another morning has opened its eyes, and we have opened ours with it. For this alone, we give thanks.
Today, we stand upon the earth with humility and pour this libation in honor of Chi anyi, Ala, our ancestors, and the unseen forces that guide the journey of the living.
May this Orie bring peace to our homes, clarity to our minds, strength to our bodies, and prosperity to the work of our hands.
May every closed road before us open.
May confusion give way to wisdom.
May those who wish us well find reason to rejoice with us.
May our ancestors remember us for good and guide our footsteps away from danger.
What belongs to us, may it find us.
