When you hear out of school children, know that about 70% of them are from the north and most are not put through apprenticeship. Ultimately, they survive hand to mouth.
Leaving Below poverty lines you hear now and then is worse in the north. Unfortunately too, most do not benefit from social intervention programmes especially the ones digitally distributed as they do not have bank accounts.
2023 general Election was massively rigged in the North. They actually gave Tinubu the win. They perhaps do not understand how governance affects them till they begin to see it. So they can easily collect 500 Naira and vote who they were told to vote.
