Everybody wants to attend the AMVCA.
Everybody wants the lights, the glamour, the red carpet moment, the attention…
But while creating this look, God laid something deeply on my heart:
“There are lives tied to every life.”
So no, this dress made out of a thousand little humans was not just for art or creativity.
It was a message.
Because beyond the beauty, beyond the fashion, beyond the viral moment, every tiny human on this dress represents what life truly is supposed to mean.
People.
Lives.
Impact.
Purpose.
We live in a generation where many people are chasing visibility, but forgetting responsibility. Forgetting that somebody somewhere is connected to their becoming.
There are children tied to your obedience.
Families tied to your healing.
People tied to your consistency.
Generations tied to your courage to not give up.
You may think your life is ordinary, but somebody’s prayer is connected to your existence.
Some of us are too busy asking God, “What about me?” while Heaven is waiting for us to realize that our lives were never created to end with us.
Even Jesus did not live for Himself.
Everything He carried was for people.
And honestly?
That is why the dress is heavy.
Because purpose is heavy.
Calling is heavy.
Impact is heavy.
To truly carry people in your heart, through prayers, leadership, service, kindness, sacrifice, vision, love… is not light work.
But if God has allowed lives to be tied to you, then He has also supplied the grace to carry what comes with it.
I really hope when people see this look, they see beyond fashion.
I hope they remember that success is not just about arriving at the red carpet…
It is about how many lives are blessed because you existed at all.
There are lives tied to every life.
Never live like yours means nothing.
