Looking back at my Nikkah, one of the sweetest memories was seeing my big brothers and sisters coming all the way from Abroad, Ibadan, Oyo, Iseyin, Abeokuta, Eruwa and different places to Lagos just to celebrate with me.
Honestly, the love was overwhelming! Some people travelled for hours, some crossed borders, while some practically relocated to Lagos for the occasion. Abbey has been at the apartment a day before I entered Lagos, I dunno why he camped there ๐๐๐That kind of love is priceless.
But the funniest part was seeing the different categories of my friends.
My single friends were everywhere, mounting dozens like they were on a mission to prove that โwe are still available oโ People like Alarape Ibrahim Barmedeylay Olamilekan Olaoye Emmanuel Oluwaseyifunmi Abilawon Afeez, TM, West, Bimbo, Kayode Oladeji Victor Ogundepo
Then my married friends came with their families, looking so proud and accomplished like:
โYou see us? We have graduated from this stageโ people like Pharm Akintaro Olayemi Drโlex Abayomi Abraham Olayiwola
Everybody came with their own package, but the love and happiness were the same.
My Nikkah reminded me that life is beautiful when you have people who genuinely celebrate your happiness with you. To everyone who travelled from far and near to be part of my special day, may Allah bless you abundantly.
The memories will remain sweet foreverโฆ but those single guys that were mounting dozens that day, God is watching you.
