Another important milestone for Malcolms Anatomy Foundation.

We are proud to share that we have officially received our SCUML Certification.

This certification represents more than compliance; it reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and building a trusted nonprofit institution that can responsibly serve individuals living with limb loss and related physical challenges.

As we continue expanding our work in prosthetics access, education, advocacy, and support, we are intentionally putting the right legal and operational structures in place to ensure that every step we take is built on integrity.

We are growing steadily, and we are growing right.

Thank you to everyone supporting this journey.

A special highlight from our Virtual Kickoff Meeting was an inspiring message from our guest speaker, Angela Williamson.

Angela is a highly experienced volunteer engagement specialist with over 20 years of experience helping nonprofits build structured, people-centered volunteer systems that drive real impact.

Although she couldn’t join us live, she took the time to record a thoughtful and encouraging message for our team, and we are truly grateful for her support.

Despite a few connection challenges during the session, the kickoff was a great success, and her contribution added immense value to the experience.

Thank you, Angela Williamson, for your time, insight, and willingness to support our mission. We deeply appreciate it.

We held our Virtual Kickoff Meeting at Malcolms Anatomy Foundation on Sat 11th, 2026. A powerful moment as we brought together members across different countries, united by one mission.

In his opening remarks, our Executive Director, Malcolm Iheremelam, shared a clear vision for why this foundation will succeed.

He emphasized that real impact comes from combining:
βœ”οΈ Committed people
βœ”οΈ Structured systems and governance
βœ”οΈ Technology-driven collaboration
βœ”οΈ Practical tools like the Google Ad Grants

With these in place, we are not just building an idea, we are building a system capable of delivering real support and access to prosthetic care across Africa.

This is just the beginning.

Malcolms Anatomy Foundation was represented in Abuja at a two-day workshop hosted by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) focused on IFRS for SMEs and IFRS 19, simplified financial reporting standards designed to support the growth, accountability, and sustainability of small and medium-sized organizations.

The sessions provided valuable insights into key differences between full IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, including updated treatments for development costs, inventory, employee benefits, and the recognition and impairment of property, plant and equipment, investment property, and intangible assets.

These approaches reinforce the importance of practicality and transparency in financial reporting.

The workshop was both timely and highly relevant, particularly as Malcolms Anatomy Foundation continues to strengthen its internal governance and financial reporting frameworks.

As a public interest entity, we recognize the responsibility that comes with managing donor funds. Our Finance Office, led by Hope Amos Njoku, works closely with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria to ensure accurate reporting, proper disclosure of material information, and strict compliance with applicable standards.

Transparency and accountability remain central to how we steward resources entrusted to the Foundation.

We appreciate the FRCN for creating an enabling learning environment that supports responsible financial management across organizations.
