TRUE LOVE:

Hello guys!
it's been a long time i wrote something here; true love seems to be really hard to find these days, but a lot of people aren't willing to take a chance, even when its standing right Infront of them.
maybe we are all looking in the wrong direction or are too tired 2 let down our guards, just 2 be vulnerable 2 love, wit d purest of heart. or we hv grown too strong and are not afraid 2 be alone which is the scariest of them all. Everyone is nt ur ex and u need 2 realize dis; dat u were hurt before does not mean u will be again.
if you were heartbroken before, i bet you won't want to be in that position again; buh could u, maybe let down your fence a little bit...and allow someone 2 love you! we're all afraid buh we gotta take a chance, else we might regret not trying.
True love exists and we are all gonna find it or at least let it come to us wen we aren't looking...just like in the movies. I pray you find love...

Dear Sister,
I am sorry for what you experienced; it's okay to make a mistake and rise above it! thank God for mercy....
if you want to do this right then work with God this time around!
Do not date a man you intend to marry carnally, remove s*x from your relationship and see how long it last! a lot of failed Marriages started from the wrong foundation in courtship/dating....
The only Reason you did not see the RedFlags in that relationship is because you were having s*x, and it beclouded your judgement of character. which is what the devil wants......
There are no wrong people in life but there are Partners that are not compactible, but the s*x won't let you see this until it gets to divorce and two people are left broken and damaged.

you can't truly go for something you are not well prepared for!
you want to get married but have never read a book on marriage non attended any coaching classes or seminar on the said topic!
The only preparation the devil wants you to focus on is money and that's why we have a lot of millionaires ending their marriages after so many years of pain and heart aches on both parties!
Sister, if you want to marry a God-fearing man, you need to be one yourself! where is your prayer altar?
Can you manage a home? if not how can you learn this before marriage?
can you resolve conflict without calling the whole world into your affairs?
Are you eating healthy?
can you forgive and let go of hurt easily?
can you say you are sorry and never bring it up again when you are not wrong, but you want peace in your home?
Can you be a good team player with your spouse to bring up your kids in a Godly way?
Can you handle your future baby weight issues when it comes up?
are you teachable?
can you leave your parents and focus on marriage?
No true champion prepares for battle on the day of battle....
your preparation starts as a single!
what are you doing with your single life?
How do you picture your home to be?
what are the things you are both willing to let go!
Can you build trust and never break it?
can you both build an altar of prayer and allow your kids watch you pray there for the rest of your lives!
How will you handle you finance?
Are you ready to support each other's vision in life?
Can you both protect your marriage from bad friends?
Do you both hear from God, cos you will be needing that a lot in your marriage.
Before you complain about not been married, ask yourself these questions and be accountable for the progress you have made so far...only then are you ready. God has released your spouses since, but He is waiting for you to be Ready....
so, I ask again, ARE YOU READY FOR MARRIAGE?

THE FARMERS DAUGHTER:

I have been thinking all day what to name this write up; couldn't think of a better title than this.
I could write a million words to wish my Dad a Happy Father's Day, but here are some few moments I wanna pen down.
I was told you didn't blink an eye the night I was born...i could remember always waiting to eat with Daddy.
And the Hospital trips, where you held me to be injected cos I got sick for 6 months straight.

I remember watching you wear just one cloth so we can have an education.

One day; I and Daniel my younger brother wanted to surprise you, when you return from the farm. we made a meal...I cooked my first meal Daddy...we picked snails from around the house, and made soup... I gathered firewood and made swallow..
I recall that day like yesterday; you were so proud of us.you didn't have much but you taught us contentment.
You never allowed us visit people anyhow, I never really understood until we became older and realized it was self Respect.
You sold Tomatoes, rice, cassava e.t.c to send us to school...yet you read Business Administration..you were educated.

And when life became a bit better; you sent us to the best schools... And Christmas clothes, we wore the best clothes, although mine was always oversized cos your taste in female fashion was terrible..but I loved all my clothes and I was grateful to have them.

When you became Sick, I brought Heaven down with fasting and praying for my Hero..
You gave us Education, Taught us how to Love God and you gave us values...

Dad, my most treasured moments where the ones we both sat down under the mango tree to discuss about your worries...I miss them alot.

I made your wife jealous cos our bond is Unconditional, you could tell a Father's Love lives here.
How could I not love a Father as you Daddy.

You never told me you love me in words, but you showed me a million times; how much you love me.

I have always dreamt of buying you a car to say thank You. And I will by God's Grace.
It is difficult to have a man love me less, cos you my father showed me how a woman should be cared for.
And your Prayers are always with me.

When a Person gets divorced, something dies and another thing awakens! They start to discover self again...at that point marriage feels like an institution of actors with everyone playing their roles and when it's nolonger convenient they walk away.

Time seems to have ran so fast and you suddenly feel the need to catch up with all the time you have lost while playing 'the Role'
You sometimes wonder how your 'ride or die' becomes your 'hide or lie' after a divorce cos everyone is trying to pose an image of I have moved on when in real sense both parties are never Really okay after devoting their entire life to each other.

It is important to discover yourself before you commit to another because one day you will wake up and feel unhappy if you never pursued purpose. This is no fault of your partner; but nothing they ever do will be enough because you don't feel enough for yourself.

Once time is passed, you can never claim it back! Rub all the anti-aging creams you can..
Drink all the slim teas you want to!
Wear all the younger people's fashion
But one thing remains...you can never be 20 again!
You could go as far as reducing your age on paper but your body knows your real age and sooner or later you can not carry out task you could 10 years ago.

It is important to make choices void of regrets!
Mistakes happen sometimes, but what you do after realizing the mistakes will set the pace for a smooth landing.

You will experience hurt, love, joy, laughter, peace and sometimes struggles...but ain't they all part of your success story?

Some of the problems faced by people in Relationships or marriages are seed sown by their Parents unknowingly. When you sown a seed of hatred in the heart of a child; no matter how much love they receive, their inner gut seeks for vengeance and guess what? When they grow older, they certainly will vent it on the one that loves them the most.
Deal with your demons before they consume you and damage another.
