The Free Maternal Healthcare (FMH) Project is Six Weeks!

To the glory of God, who has deemed it fit to use the Seventh-day Adventist Hospital Ile-Ife and generous donors to bring free safe and quality care to pregnant women, the FMH project is now six weeks old. It's been a challenging but worthwhile journey so far, and we are glad to share with you the progress so far:

Applications: 447 women

Enrollments (attendance of first clinic): 260 women

Admissions (to the ward): 60 women

Total deliveries: 33

Caesarean sections: 12

Vaginal deliveries: 21

Discharged alive and well: 55 women

Currently on admission: 5

Non-delivery admissions: 27

Babies: 36 (3 twin deliveries)

Blood drive: 5 voluntary donations
