Myth: ED is a normal, unavoidable part of aging.
Fact:
Not inevitable — many older men maintain healthy function
Often caused by treatable conditions (CVD, diabetes, hormonal issues)
Lifestyle changes, medication, and therapy help at any age
Slide 2: Testosterone Supplements
Myth: Testosterone boosts libido and performance in all men.
Fact:
Only beneficial for men with clinically low testosterone
No proven benefit for men with normal levels
Risks: blood clots, sleep apnea, prostate issues, reduced fertility
Blood test required before supplementation
Slide 3: STIs & Oral S*x
Myth: Oral s*x is completely safe with no STI risk.
Fact:
Gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, herpes, HPV transmissible orally
Barrier protection (condoms, dental dams) reduces risk
Regular screening important regardless of activity type
