Incorporating Mental Health in Learning

We aim to ensure that children develop well mentally. Mental health in children has been greatly underestimated, with the introduction of developmental screening in hospitals in Nigeria; children have a better chance of developing well both physically and mentally. This routine practice will greatly enrich and enhance their lives so that they can excel to t

heir full potential. Having a sound mind means functioning at your full capacity, because your mind is you. You are exceptional from the next human being because of your mind. Your mind determines who you are, your thinking, your ability to do well in your life endeavours and most importantly your emotions. Therefore it is imperative that you keep your mind healthy at all times. Developmental Surveillance monitors your child's development by making sure that their mind is kept healthy

Imagine taking your child to a therapy center because they are struggling, only to be told they cannot receive help because of the very behaviors they need support for.

That is like refusing to treat a patient because they are sick.

Challenging behavior is not a reason to deny therapy. It is often a child's way of communicating fear, frustration, confusion, or unmet needs. These are the moments when skilled intervention, patience, and compassion matter the most.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. When we choose understanding over rejection, we create better outcomes not only for children but also for their families.

At Nobelova Grandani, we believe every child deserves access to quality support, regardless of where they are in their journey.

Ever noticed something funny?

Imagine boarding a plane and the flight attendant suddenly says, "Don't worry, today I'll be flying the aircraft too!"

You'll probably start praying before takeoff.

Not because the flight attendant isn't important—but because everyone has a different role.
The same applies in ABA therapy.

A Behavior Technician is an essential part of your child's journey. They work directly with children, implement therapy sessions, collect data, and help children practice important skills every day.

A Behavior Analyst, on the other hand, is the professional who conducts assessments, designs individualized treatment plans, analyzes progress, supervises the therapy team, and ensures every intervention is ethical, evidence-based, and tailored to your child's unique needs.

One role doesn't replace the other—they complement each other. When every professional stays within their scope of practice, children receive the safest, most effective care possible.

At Nobelova Gradani, we're committed to ethical, evidence-based services because every child deserves a team that works together for their success.

Every neurodiverse child has rights—and every parent deserves to know them.

If your child has autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or another neurodevelopmental condition, they are entitled to dignity, protection, and access to education without discrimination.

Here are a few key rights every parent should know:

✓ Your child has the right to education without discrimination.

✓ Your child has the right to reasonable support and accommodations in school.

✓ Your child has the right to be protected from bullying, abuse, and exclusion.

✓ Your child has the right to have their best interests considered in every decision affecting them.

✓ As a parent, you have the right to ask questions, request clarity on school policies, and advocate for your child's needs.

Knowing these rights empowers you to make informed decisions and ensure your child receives the support they deserve.

Need guidance or have questions about your child's educational rights? We're here to help.
