What is infertility
Infertility in women refers to the struggle to conceive after a year of trying with regular, unprotected s*x. For women who are 35 or older, doctors usually suggest getting checked out after just 6 months of trying. There are a variety of reasons why this might happen, such as: - Issues with ovulation (not releasing an egg) - Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes - Endometriosis - Fibroids or other uterine problems - Hormonal imbalances - Age-related fertility changes - Sometimes, the cause remains a mystery It's important to note that infertility doesn't mean a woman is completely unable to get pregnant. Many underlying issues can be treated or managed, depending on what's causing the challenges.
