πŸ’”πŸ˜± THE BOY THEY CALLED A BURDEN β€” PART 2: HE DESTROYED EVERYTHING, BUT A STRANGER STOOD UP!

He had already abandoned his wife and autistic son. But when he returned and found them trying to survive by selling fruits at a roadside stall, he did something that left everyone stunned. πŸ’”

Instead of feeling sorry for the woman who was struggling to feed their child, he became furious.

Right there in front of everyone, he scattered their fruits, destroying the little business they depended on to survive. He insulted his wife, humiliated her, and made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with her or their son.

The mother was heartbroken. Those fruits were more than just goods for sale. They represented hope, survival, and her determination to give her little boy a better life.

Her son, a sensitive autistic child, stood close to his mother as the frightening scene unfolded. He did not deserve to witness such cruelty. No child should ever have to feel like a burden simply because they are different. πŸ’”

But just when it seemed nobody would speak up for them, the mysterious stranger from Part 1 appeared!

Remember the poor-looking man who approached the mother when he was hungry? She had shown him kindness when she had very little to give. Now, he had witnessed her suffering, and he refused to stand by silently.

He stepped forward and challenged the angry father.

The father mocked him, questioning how a man dressed in dusty clothes could dare to interfere in his family affairs. But the stranger was not intimidated. He reminded him that being a father did not give him the right to humiliate the very people he was supposed to protect.

Then something unexpected happened.

While his mother was trying to gather the scattered fruits, the little boy approached the stranger. The man lowered himself to the child's level and spoke gently to him.

For a moment, the frightened boy seemed to feel safe around someone who had shown him kindness rather than anger.

His mother watched in surprise.

The father, however, had no interest in changing his ways. He walked away, leaving his wife and son to face their struggles alone.

But the stranger made an offer that could change everything. He told the mother he wanted to help her rebuild her fruit business.

She could hardly believe it. Why would someone who appeared to have so little be willing to help a struggling woman and her autistic child?

What she didn't know was that this stranger was hiding a secret of his own. πŸ‘€

Could the same woman who showed kindness to a hungry stranger be about to receive a blessing she never expected?

And who is this mysterious man behind those dusty clothes?

πŸ‘‡ PART 3 IS COMING! Do you think the father will regret the way he treated his family when he discovers who the stranger really is?

πŸ’”πŸ˜ THE BOY THEY CALLED A BURDEN β€” PART 1

His father saw him as a problem, but his mother saw a child who needed love, patience, and understanding. When her husband forced her to choose, she chose her son. But how would she survive alone?

πŸ’”πŸ˜ THE BOY THEY CALLED A BURDEN β€” PART 1

WHAT KIND OF FATHER FORCES A MOTHER TO CHOOSE BETWEEN HER HUSBAND AND HER OWN CHILD? πŸ’”

Every day, this little boy struggled to understand a world that often refused to understand him. He was autistic, but instead of trying to understand his needs, his father saw him as a burden.

Whenever the boy struggled to respond, his father became angry. Whenever he covered his ears or behaved differently from other children, his father complained. 😒

But his mother saw something different.

She saw a little boy who needed patience, love, understanding, and someone willing to stand by him when the world turned its back on him.

One day, her husband gave her an impossible choice: abandon her son or lose her marriage.

She chose her son. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

But love alone would not pay the bills.

With no job and four walls of responsibility closing in on her, she began selling scrumps by the roadside to survive. Some people rejected her. Others looked down on her. Yet every morning, she picked herself up and tried again.

She was determined that her son would never feel unwanted simply because the world struggled to understand him.

Then, one evening, a stranger approached her stall. He looked poor, hungry, and helpless.

She had barely enough food for herself and her son, but when the stranger begged for something to eat, she gave him her last portion.

What she didn't know was that this seemingly poor man was hiding a secret that could change their lives forever.

And something even more surprising happened: her little boy, who rarely approached unfamiliar people, seemed unusually comfortable around the stranger.

Who was this man? Why did he keep looking at the boy with such tenderness? And what would happen when the mother discovered his true identity?

πŸ’” Sometimes, the people who need the most understanding are the ones the world judges the most. And sometimes, one small act of kindness can change a family's entire story.

PART 1 video IS COMING… πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

🚨 WHAT YOU CALL BAD BEHAVIOR MAY ACTUALLY BE AN AUTISM MELTDOWN. πŸŽπŸ’”

A child screaming, throwing things, crying uncontrollably or dropping to the floor can easily be labelled stubborn, spoilt or badly behaved.

But what if that child is experiencing sensory overload?

For some autistic children, a meltdown can happen when sounds, lights, demands, frustration or overwhelming emotions become too much to process.

And no, this doesn't mean every act of throwing or screaming is automatically an autism meltdown. Understanding the trigger matters.

Instead of immediately shouting, threatening or punishing, pause and ask:

❀️ Is the environment too loud?
❀️ Is the child overwhelmed?
❀️ Are they struggling to communicate what they need?
❀️ Do they need space, reduced stimulation or support?

A meltdown is not a moment to shame a child. It is a moment to understand what they may be struggling to communicate.

Autism parents, have you ever had someone mistake your child's meltdown for bad parenting?

And to everyone else, before you judge an autism mom in public, remember that you may be witnessing a struggle you don't understand.

πŸ’¬ LET'S TALK: WHAT DO YOU WISH PEOPLE UNDERSTOOD ABOUT AUTISM MELTDOWNS?

πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ NIGERIA AT 66: LET EVERY CHILD BELONG πŸ’šπŸ§©

As Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, I want us to remember a group of Nigerians who are sometimes forgotten in the conversation β€” autistic children and their families.

Autism is not witchcraft.
It is not a punishment.
It is not something a family should be ashamed of.

An autistic child is still a Nigerian child. πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬β€οΈ

They deserve access to education, therapy and developmental support where needed, safe spaces, communication opportunities, understanding, and most importantly, acceptance.

And parents need support too. Instead of asking, β€œWhat is wrong with this child?” let's start asking, β€œHow can we support this child and this family?”

The Nigeria we build tomorrow must have room for every child β€” including those who communicate, learn, play, or experience the world differently.

πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ Happy 66th Independence Day, Nigeria.

From one autism mother to Nigerian parents: let us raise a generation that chooses understanding over stigma. πŸ’šπŸ§©
