When did you last say thank you to your eyes?

Nigeria turns 66 today, and most of us will spend it with people we love, taking pictures and enjoying the day. Every bit of it happens through our eyes.

Being able to read, work, drive and watch your children grow is a freedom too, and it needs care that starts early.

At MedricVision Eye Clinic, we test carefully, explain clearly and treat with care, so you can keep enjoying every good day this country gives you.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria, and welcome to October.

We’ve recently come across people asking if their glasses can cure their eyes and the truth is that, no your glasses can’t cure your but it can correct them.

That’s why it is always advisable to have your glasses on all the time especially when you engage in work that stresses the eyes always.

We hope you learn a thing from this.

Your eyes have been quietly clocking overtime, and your productivity is the one paying for it.

That constant squinting at your screen by 3pm? The headaches that show up right when you need to focus most? That’s not “just stress.” That’s digital eye strain, and it’s costing Lagos workers more focused hours than anyone’s tracking.

We’re pulling back the curtain on it. Live.

📍 Digital Eye Strain: How It Kills Workplace Productivity
🗓️ 5th August, 2026 | ⏰ 3pm | 📲 Instagram Live

Dr. Davidson (Practice Manager) joins us to break down:
✔️ Live answers to your eye + workplace questions
✔️ Preventive eye care that actually fits a 9-5
✔️ DIY remedies for eye pain
✔️ Free eye test for corporate staff members

And because we know most of you won’t be the only one dealing with this at your office, bring your team.

We’re opening a free screening day for corporate staff at the clinic on the 7th.

Tag your colleague who’s always rubbing their eyes by lunchtime. They’ll thank you. We might too. 👀

Know a company that should hear about this? Share this post to their HR person, their office group chat, or that one coworker who’s always squinting at their laptop. The more people in the room, the more eyes we save.

Comment VISION, and we’ll send you the details + how to book your corporate slot.
