It’s a good day to remind you that Prayer is not a substitute for proven medical care. You can pray and still take your medications. Faith and medicine can coexist. Selah!

That song “Buga” by belongs to African aunties. I don’t make the rules. There are receipts.

As an event host, whenever the energy drops and the aunties start adjusting their wrappers and discussing knee pain, I simply tell the DJ:

🎶 “Buga won…” 🎶

Suddenly, osteoarthritis takes a coffee break.
The knees remember their factory settings.
Lumbar spondylosis shifts to the background.
Analgesics become optional.
Even the auntie that said, “Please don’t stress me, my leg is paining me,” is now doing choreography she last attempted in 1998.

At this point, I’m convinced “Buga” isn’t just a song. It’s a non-pharmacological intervention for acute dance deficiency in African aunties.

Side effects may include:
• Excessive shoulder movement
• Unsolicited waist rotations
• Loud “Yeeeh!” sounds
• Repeated requests for the DJ to play it “one more time”

Prescription:
Buga track stat, repeat as needed at weddings, birthdays, and owambes.

If cayenne pepper cured all diseases, hospitals would be prescribing it instead of chemotherapy, insulin, antibiotics, blood pressure medications, and surgery. You think we are happy that patients keep coming back for@treatment for the same illness over and over again?

Cayenne pepper is a spice, not a cure-all. Be cautious of anyone claiming that one thing can treat every disease. In medicine, “cures everything” is usually a red flag.)l

Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, which has been studied for a few effects:

support digestion

pain relief when applied topically. capsaicin creams are used for nerve and joint pain

boost metabolism. Can mildly increase calorie burning
Supports heart health
appetite regulation

Important reality check
These are mild supportive effects, not cures. Cayenne pepper does not treat or replace medication for diseases like diabetes, hypertension, infections, or cancer.

How it should be taken

As a spice in food (soups, stews, sauces) → safest and most common use

Start with very small amounts if you’re not used to spicy food. Avoid taking large “shots” or concentrated mixtures daily

Caution
Be careful or avoid excess if you have:

Acid reflux or ulcer symptoms (can worsen burning sensation)
* Sensitive stomach
* Hemorrhoids (can irritate)
* Are on blood thinners (possible interaction concerns in high amounts)

Bottom line

Cayenne pepper is a food spice with health-supporting effects, not a treatment for disease. It works best as part of a balanced diet not as a daily “medicine.” Selah.
