Most women don't realize these symptoms could be caused by fibroids until they start affecting their daily life. 💔

🌸 Fibroids (uterine leiomyomas) are noncancerous growths that develop in or around the uterus.

They affect millions of women worldwide, especially during the reproductive years. While some women never notice them, others experience symptoms severe enough to interfere with work, relationships, pregnancy, and everyday life.

⚠️ Common signs of fibroids:
• Heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding
• Pelvic pressure or pain
• Frequent urination
• Constipation
• Lower back pain
• Pain during in*******se
• Enlarged abdomen or bloating
• Difficulty getting pregnant or pregnancy complications

👩🏽‍⚕️ Who is at higher risk?
✔️ Family history
✔️ Age 30–50 years
✔️ Obesity
✔️ Early menstruation
✔️ High estrogen levels

💡 The good news?
Fibroids are treatable. Treatment depends on the size, location, symptoms, and your pregnancy goals. Options range from watchful waiting and medications to minimally invasive procedures and surgery.

🚨 Seek urgent medical care if you experience:

🔴 Very heavy bleeding (soaking a pad every hour)
🔴 Severe pelvic pain
🔴 Fever with pelvic pain
🔴 Difficulty urinating
🔴 Dizziness or fainting from blood loss
❤️ Early diagnosis can prevent complications like severe anemia, infertility, and pregnancy problems.

🚨 One tiny bat bite. One life-or-death decision. Would you make the right call? 🦇⚠️

Not every medical emergency comes with heavy bleeding or dramatic symptoms. Sometimes, a small, painless bat bite is all it takes to expose someone to a virus that is almost always fatal once symptoms begin.

This is why every nurse and nursing student must know the PRIORITY post-exposure intervention. It's a classic NCLEX question that tests your ability to recognize risk, prioritize care, and act immediately.

🩺 Don't guess—think like a safe nurse.
Every second counts when preventing a deadly infection.
