She was more than a legendary singer and songwriter. She was a storyteller, philanthropist, actress, entrepreneur, and a beacon of generosity whose impact will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.

Her journey on earth has ended, but her music, laughter, compassion, and legacy will remain with us forever.

Mary Osadebane Arokodare was affectionately known as "Deba". She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, entrepreneur and woman of faith.

Today she was laid to rest and it was such a sad moment for her family and loved ones.

We pray the Lord to comfort them and help them heal from this grief.

May her sweet soul rest on in the bosom of the Lord, Amen.
