It is important to understand breast health,create awareness and support breast cancer patients. You can stamp out Breast Cancer by learning how to do a breast self examination, having a clinical breast examination, if you are above 50 years have a mammogram done.Your breast health is your responsibility. Celebrating 20 Years of Oncopreneurship & Impact!

O is for Oncopreneurship

As Sebeccly Cancer Care marks two decades of empowering Oncopreneurs and cancer specialists, we continue to serve as a pioneering anchor institution and launchpad for sustainable oncology ventures.

Join us at the P.O.W.E.R Conference 2026 on 09 Sept 2026, where we are sharing the blueprint for systemic scale and reach:
1. Driving flagship initiatives like the Time-to-Screen program in partnership with the ACT Foundation and government agencies.
2. Launching spin-off ventures to bridge clinical gaps, including Oncopadi Technologies (digital oncology and navigation), Pearl Oncology Specialist Hospital (multidisciplinary care), and the Oncopreneurs Cooperative Multipurpose Society.
3. Contributed to the generation and empowerment of 5 Clinical Oncologists, trained hundreds of healthcare professionals, and mobilised over 1,000 active volunteers, e are delighted to launch the .

Naija Cancer Watch Fellows, 2026 🎉

Introducing the faces behind the mission - our 15 Fellows of 2026!

Over the past few weeks, these fellows have shown up fully: from the bootcamp and virtual sessions, to creating educational and inspiring content on cancer.

They asked the thoughtful questions during our sessions with oncologists and survivors, the kind that deepen understanding, challenge assumptions, and shape how cancer is talked about. And now, they're intentional about one thing: making sure cancer-related content is accurate, sensitive, and true to the people it represents.

Meet Benita Egone, a breast cancer survivor.

In this video, she shares her story of how she discovered she had cancer, the challenging moments she faced, and what life was like during her diagnosis and treatment journey.

We are building a community of cancer survivors to show the world that surviving cancer is possible, and to encourage patients who may be going through their own journey right now.

Benita’s story is a reminder that there is life, hope, and strength beyond a cancer diagnosis.

We honour the life and legacy of Prof Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan the first Board Chairman of Sebeccly Cancer Centre. He is also a pioneer in cancer care, the first clinical and radiation oncologist in West Africa, and a pioneering Head of Department of Radiation Biology, Radiodiagnosis, and Radiotherapy.

Sebeccly was present and contributed to the Night of Tribute, Academic Procession, and Commendation Service held in his honour. It was a reminder of how many lives he touched.

Prof didn’t just lead, he poured his mind into helping shape Sebeccly. His guidance helped build the vision we carry today, one focused on early detection and access.

And you can see that impact. Sebeccly has reached 20 million people, screened 32 thousand women, and reached over 200 communities.

He was also a steady mentor to our founder, Dr Omolola Salako, and that influence still shows in everything we do.

His legacy will continue to live on at Sebeccly Cancer Centre.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
