Irregular periods, persistent acne, unwanted hair growth, hair thinning, weight changes, or difficulty getting pregnant may sometimes be associated with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), previously known as PCOS.

PMOS can look different for every woman, and having one or more of these symptoms doesn’t automatically mean you have PMOS. The important thing is not to keep dismissing symptoms that persist or keep returning.
