At BM Empire Multispecialist Hospital, our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a sanctuary for healing, recovery, and critical intervention. To ensure the highest standard of patient safety and clinical excellence, we maintain strict operational protocols.
Here is why our rules are non-negotiable:
• 🥼 Cross-Contamination Defeated: All staff and authorized entrants must wear full PPE—including head covers, nose masks, and dedicated in-house Crocs. This stops external pathogens at the door.
• 🚫📱 Strict Privacy & Security: Cell phones are entirely prohibited inside the ICU. This protects patient confidentiality and ensures a distraction-free environment for our medical team.
• 🛑🛌 No Sitting on Patient Beds: To maintain sterile fields and prevent the transfer of germs, beds are strictly for the patients.
• 🍎❌ No Outside Food/Edibles: Patient nutrition is strictly monitored and clinically managed. Outside consumables risk introducing infection or disrupting treatment plans.
• 🕒 Rest is Medicine: Visiting is strictly limited to official visiting hours and kept very brief. This ensures our patients get the uninterrupted rest they desperately need to recover.
What’s the difference between an ICU and a standard ward?
A standard ward focuses on routine recovery and monitoring, whereas the ICU provides continuous, one-on-one life support and highly specialized care where every second—and every hygiene protocol—counts.
Thank you for helping us keep our environment sterile, secure, and serene for your loved ones. 🙏💙
