PRESS STATEMENT
The Board and Management of the Initiative for Mental Healthcare and Advocacy in Nigeria (mhCAIN) commiserates with the traders of Monday Market Maiduguri and indeed all the people and the government of Borno State on the unfortunate inferno that engulfed the popular market on Sunday 26th February 2023.
We sympathise with all that were affected and pray that God Almighty will give us all the strength to overcome this trial.
While urging all businessmen and women of market, and indeed all citizens to remain steadfast in faith and prayers, we wish to reiterate our resolve that our organization is willing to partner with all stakeholders including the State Government, humanitarian organizations and the trader’s associations to offer short and long-term specialized psychosocial support service to victims.
