Church hurt is real… but let’s be honest, some of you are also the problem.

It’s easy to blame the church. The pastor. The leaders.
And yes some people have truly been hurt, ignored, and disappointed.
But let’s tell the full truth, some of you came to church already wounded…
And instead of healing, you carried the same jealousy, gossip, and bitterness into the house of God.

You expect love, but you don’t show it.
You expect understanding, but you judge others harshly.
You want support, but you disappear when others need you.
Then when things go wrong, it becomes:
“Church people are toxic.”
But you were part of the environment too.
Healing is not just about leaving a place that hurt you, it's also about taking responsibility for the patterns you refuse to confront in yourself. If you don’t heal what is inside you,
You will carry the same pain into every church, every relationship, and every space you enter.

Let’s be honest
Do you think people talk more about church hurt than personal responsibility?

Stop calling it submission when it is actually fear.

A lot of people are hiding emotional abuse behind “spiritual language.”
A woman is afraid to speak.
Afraid to question.
Afraid to express pain.
And suddenly, they call it “a submissive wife.”
No.
That is not submission. That is silence built on fear.
Real submission is not forced.
It is not demanded.
It is not controlled.
It is given freely in a safe and respectful environment.
If someone cannot express themselves without being insulted, ignored, or intimidated… that relationship is not healthy, no matter how “spiritual” it looks outside.
Let’s be honest…
Some homes look peaceful, but it is only because one person has learned to suffer quietly.
And that kind of silence will eventually damage a person mentally and emotionally.

Be honest…
Do you think many people are confusing submission with fear in relationships today?

Some of you are not in love… you are just afraid to start over.

You call it love, but deep down, you know the truth.
You are staying because of time.
Because of memories.
Because you’re scared of being alone.
Not because you are truly happy.
You have adjusted to pain so much that it now feels normal.
You laugh together sometimes, but the connection is no longer there.
The peace is gone… but you keep managing it.

And the scariest part?
You keep telling yourself, “What if I don’t find better?”
So you stay.
Not because it’s right…
But because it’s familiar.
Real love does not constantly drain you.
It does not make you feel stuck, confused, or emotionally tired every day.
Sometimes, the hardest truth to accept is this:
You are not holding on to love…
You are holding on to fear.

Be honest…
Have you ever stayed in something that was no longer good for you just because you were afraid to start again?

Many people walk around carrying sadness, trauma, and emotional pain behind neat appearances and confident smiles.
Looking “fine” does not always mean being fine. For some, looking good is simply a coping mechanism...a way to manage silent inner battles.

The mind is not a transparent glass. We cannot see the weight people carry or the thoughts that keep them awake at night.
This is why mental health awareness matters.
Choose kindness. Be gentle. Check in on people. You never know how much a simple, smallest act of compassion can mean.

If this message resonates with you, like, share, and follow this page to help spread mental health awareness. Someone may need this today.
