I dated my husband for 2 years before we got married. Back then, he had no money, and I stood by him, supported him with the little I had, even using my own money to cook for us.

When a Canadian woman eventually sent him money, he used it to flex with another girl. I wanted to leave, but I discovered I was pregnant, and we eventually got married.

I thought marriage would change things, but today, it feels like things are getting worse instead of better.

I'm 31, a mother of 3, and honestly, I'm tired. I'm tired of hoping, tired of sacrificing, and tired of watching my own dreams fade away.

I want to live, too. I want to grow, achieve something meaningful, and be happy with my life. I don't want to wake up at 40 and realize I lost myself trying to save a marriage.

Dear Facebook family, must a woman sacrifice her happiness just to prove she's a good wife? Or is it okay to choose herself when she's had enough?

Please advise me. I need honest opinions, not insults.

Good morning family
Please I need your advice, I’m a single mother of one and my guy is a single father of 2 he is a very good man and he wants to marry me but my problem is we don’t have same mind set tho we are all graduates but no tangible work so I’m planning on opening a business and each time I tell him he will say I should,so we will be spending the money together but deep down what I need from him is support, encouragement and ideas but he said business isn’t his thing ok fine am not forcing to adapt a business mindset but at least encourage me give me ideas and suggestions to execute my plans but NO, ok I asked him to leave our state and come build a life outside cuz there’s nothing but he refused because of his children note the kids mother is still alive, I’m just confused cuz I think settling down with him won’t do me good our mind sets doesn’t align. What should I do pls, cuz personally I’m thinking of not marrying him .
