🫁👶 DAY 1 | NEWBORN RESPIRATORY SUPPORT WORKSHOP

Saving a newborn can begin with knowing how to help them breathe. ❤️

Day 1 of our Newborn Respiratory Support Workshop was an impactful and practical learning experience for our healthcare professionals.

The session focused on understanding the newborn respiratory system, recognizing early signs of respiratory distress, and providing timely and appropriate respiratory support when it matters most.

Our healthcare professionals were trained and refreshed on:

🔹 Newborn respiratory assessment
🔹 Recognition of respiratory distress
🔹 Oxygen therapy and monitoring
🔹 Airway management
🔹 Bag-mask ventilation
🔹 CPAP and other respiratory support techniques
🔹 Endotracheal intubation and airway management
🔹 Hands-on practical demonstrations and clinical decision-making

From assessment to intervention, the training emphasized one critical message:
