Someone told you to start taking CoQ10 because you’re trying to conceive?

Before you add it to your supplement routine, let’s talk about what CoQ10 actually does for fertility. šŸ‘‡

Honestly, I’ve actually been wanting to do this for a while now. šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

You ask me about supplements a lot.
Which one to take.
Where to get them.
Which ones are worth buying.

And I kept thinking, I should just make these available myself.

Well… I finally did. ā¤ļø

The Hormone Fix now has an online supplement store.

I’m starting with CoQ10, Omega-3 Fish Oil, Folic Acid and NAC, and I’ll be adding more as we go.

My goal is simple: make it easier for you to access supplements while also helping you understand what you’re actually taking and why.

No random ā€œtake this and get pregnantā€ promises. šŸ˜‚

Just proper information and supplements I’m comfortable putting my name behind.

I’m really excited about this new step for The Hormone Fix.

More details soon.

Can you get pregnant without ovulating? This is actually a question I see a lot, and I understand why it can be confusing.

You may have s*x several days before you think you ovulate and then find out you’re pregnant.

So you start wondering, ā€œWait, if I wasn’t ovulating that day, how did I get pregnant?ā€

Here’s what happened. Pregnancy requires an egg to be released, so you cannot become pregnant if ovulation does not happen at all.

But you don’t have to have s*x on the exact day you ovulate to get pregnant.

S***m can survive inside the female reproductive tract for several days. So if you have s*x in the days leading up to ovulation, the s***m can still be there when the egg is released.

That’s why your fertile window includes the days BEFORE ovulation, not just ovulation day.

So if you’re trying to conceive, don’t wait until you think you’re ovulating before having s*x.

Those days leading up to ovulation can be just as important.

And if you’re asking this because you’re having periods but wondering whether you actually ovulate, that’s a different question and definitely worth looking into.

Have you ever wondered how pregnancy could happen when you didn’t have s*x on your ā€œovulation dayā€?

Tell me in the comments.

Your period app is making a prediction.
It doesn’t actually know the exact day you will ovulate.

Dark period blood means your body is not clean. Who else has heard this?

I’ve heard this one so many times.

And honestly, it can make you start worrying the moment you see dark brown or almost-black blood during your period.

But dark period blood does not mean your body is dirty or that you need to detox.

Most of the time, dark blood simply means the blood took a little longer to leave your uterus. The longer it stays before coming out, the darker it can become.

That’s why you may notice darker blood when your period is just starting or when it’s almost ending and your flow is lighter.

Now let’s talk about the clots.

Seeing small clots during a period can also be normal, especially when your flow is heavy. Blood can clot before it leaves the body, particularly when it’s coming out quickly.

But if you’re regularly passing very large clots, bleeding extremely heavily, soaking through your pad unusually quickly, or your periods have suddenly become much heavier or more painful than usual, that’s something worth getting checked.

Especially if you’re also experiencing dizziness, unusual weakness or severe pain.

So please don’t look at dark period blood and immediately conclude that your body is dirty.

Your period blood can change in colour, texture and flow throughout your period, and not every change means something is wrong.

What matters is knowing what is normal for you and paying attention when there’s a significant change.

Your body doesn’t need to be cleansed because your period blood is dark. It needs to be understood.

Save this post and send it to that woman who still believes dark period blood means her body is not clean.

Can you really balance your hormones naturally?

Yes, but probably not in the way social media makes it seem.

It’s not always about finding the right tea, herb or supplement. Sometimes, the everyday things you’re doing or not doing matter more.

Let’s talk about 5 simple places to start. Check the comments šŸ‘‡
