πŸ₯Ά COLD WEATHER IS HERE! ARE YOU TAKING CARE OF YOUR HEALTH? 🌧️🧣

A drop in temperature can be a reminder to pay a little extra attention to our health. Whether you're heading to work early in the morning, taking the children to school, or simply staying indoors, these simple habits can help keep you and your family healthy:

πŸ§₯ 1. KEEP WARM
Dress in layers and protect yourself from prolonged exposure to cold, especially in the early mornings and evenings.

πŸ’§ 2. DON'T FORGET WATER!
Cold weather can make you feel less thirsty, but your body still needs adequate hydration. Drink water regularly throughout the day.

🍊 3. EAT FOR YOUR HEALTH
Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein-rich foods in your meals to support your overall health.

β˜• 4. GO FOR WARM, HEALTHY DRINKS
Warm water, soups and other nutritious beverages can help you stay comfortable and hydrated.

🧼 5. KEEP YOUR HANDS CLEAN
Regular handwashing remains one of the simplest ways to reduce the spread of infections.

🫁 6. TAKE RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS SERIOUSLY
Cough, wheezing or difficulty breathing should not be ignored, particularly in children, older adults and people with existing respiratory conditions.

πŸ›Œ 7. GET ENOUGH REST
Your body needs adequate sleep and rest to function properly and maintain good health.

πŸ₯ 8. KNOW WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL CARE
Don't self-medicate when symptoms are severe, persistent or getting worse. Speak with a healthcare professional when necessary.

❀️ Your health doesn't take a break because the weather changes.

Stay warm. Stay hydrated. Eat well. Rest well. And most importantly, listen to your body.
