....... Management and staff of Ibom Multi-Specialty Hospital celebrates discharge of baby at a weight of 2.1kg.
What began as a fragile and uncertain fight for survival has grown into a truly remarkable success story, made possible through expert care by the medical team of Ibom Multi-Specialty Hospital .
This little warrior was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Ibom Multi-Specialty Hospital with an extremely low birth weight of just 750g. For six months, the baby was carefully nurtured, gaining strength day by day under the dedicated watch of a committed medical team. Today, we celebrate a joyful discharge at a healthy 2.1kg, in excellent condition.
A guard of honour was mounted by the staff and Management of Ibom Multi-Specialty Hospital for a life that refused to give up and for parents who held on through every moment with courage and faith.
The Chief Medical Director, Dr Ini Etukudo, commended the medical team for their outstanding work and also expressed gratitude to the First Lady, Noble Lady Helen Obareki, whose support through the GIFA team ensured that all necessary care was provided.
The parents, overwhelmed with gratitude, extended their heartfelt appreciation to the hospital, the medical staff, and the Akwa Ibom State Government. It was a deeply emotional moment, one that reaffirmed that excellence truly restores hope.
