We are delighted to announce the winners of the just concluded UURRASSA General Knowledge Quiz, held on the 26th of February. This competition brought together brilliant minds who showcased exceptional knowledge across science, history, literature, culture, and current affairs.

After 50 challenging questions and an intense display of intellect, the following participants emerged victorious:

Breaking News 🗞️

Yesterday being February 27th 2026, a pivotal plenary session was convened by the House of Representatives of the University of Uyo Radiography and Radiation Science Student Association (UURRSSA). The session kicked off at 4PM sharp, with key officials in attendance, including the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Clerk, Chief Whip, Honarable House Members and distinguished guests. The executive members of UURRASSA took center stage to present their budget, showcasing their proposals and initiatives to the House.

The executives defended their budget with poise and conviction, addressing queries and concerns from the members. It was truly an enriching experience, witnessing the association's leaders articulate their vision and plans for the student community. The atmosphere was engaging, with constructive feedback and discussions that underscored the association's commitment to excellence. It was a wonderful moment.

ATTENTION EVERYONE 🗞️📰

The Department of Radiography and Radiation Science yesterday celebrated one of its esteemed lecturers, Dr. Valentine Ikamaise, on the occasion of his birthday. The brief but memorable celebration was filled with warmth, appreciation, and goodwill from colleagues and students alike.

The President of UURRASSA, Comr. Godwin Paul and the Vice President, Comr. Uduakobong, key executives, as well as delegates from 5 respective classes within department came together to wish him a wonderful birthday and to acknowledge his dedication and contributions to the growth of the department and the academic development of students. As part of the celebration, thoughtful gifts were also presented to him as a token of gratitude and admiration.

The moment was not only a celebration of another year in his life but also a recognition of the positive impact he continues to make within the academic community. The department once again extends its heartfelt wishes to Dr. Valentine Ikamaise for continued success, good health, and many more years of excellence.

UPDATE! UPDATE!!

UURRASSA Ginger🔥

Yesterday dated 13th February 2026, the Department of Radiography and Radiation Science Students' Association presented gifts to Mrs. Udeme one of use who just got married.

The gift was presented by the Directorate of Welfare, as well as a graced attendance of the class representatives, all executives of UURRASSA, chief of staff and other people in the department at the NARS secretariat Abak road by 11AM with regards to commemorate and to wish her the best married life ahead.

In accordance, Mrs. Udeme accepted the gift with a clear heart and cheerful spirit and also extended her heartfelt gratitude to the student government under Comr. Godwin Paul Administration.

Again, "We wish Mrs Udeme and her husband a happy married life.
