WEEK 1: Recalibrate
✓ Eat protein within 30 minutes of waking (supports your Cortisol Awakening Response—that natural spike your body needs to wake up and focus)
✓ Sun exposure before 9am—15 minutes (no sunglasses)
✓ Limit sugar in the morning (no cortisol spikes on top of CAR)
✓ Move your hips—30 second hip circles, 3x daily

WEEK 2: Momentum
✓ Walk outside 20 min daily (no music, just you and the air)
✓ Shake your body for 2 minutes (literally shake out tension)
✓ Breathe: 4-7-8 breathing before meals (parasympathetic reset)
✓ One activity that's just for joy—not productivity

WEEK 3: Connection
✓ Eat protein with every meal (stabilizes your nervous system all day)
✓ One phone-free hour before bed (your nervous system needs to downregulate)
✓ Say no to one thing that drains you
✓ Stretch slowly for 5 minutes—notice what your body needs

WEEK 4: Integration
✓ Limit coffee to mornings only (cortisol doesn't need help in the afternoon)

Try this tonight. Your nervous system will thank you.

You can talk about your relationship all you want. But sometimes your nervous system needs something beyond words.
It needs touch.

We call this co-regulation. A gentle touch from your partner soothes your own nervous system.

Sit together. Minimum two minutes, maximum 10 (or longer if you can bear it).
A soft touch on the upper arms. Holding hands. Whatever feels comfortable.
Subtle touch. Not rushed. Just presence.

It sends a message: “I’m safe with you. Are you safe with me?”
And here’s the magic: the conversations you have after this will be completely different.

Your nervous system is smarter than your thoughts.

You can think your way out of anxiety.
