A year ago, I almost let it all go ✺
Five years of ALUNA in a small studio, and something inside me was whispering for more. I thought maybe it meant going home back to Colombia, back to the warm air, back to a different chapter.
Then one afternoon in late October, I was walking, not looking for anything. And there it was—this space. Light pouring through the windows.
I stopped. I didn’t know it yet, but everything had just shifted ✨
A week later I was inside. The landlord looked at me and said: “If everything goes well, this place is yours.”
Everything went well 🦋
In the depths of winter, the work began. My mom, my brother, my aunt, my friends, and my loved ones came from near and far. They flew in, they showed up, they painted, they lifted, they held me when the days were long. Every wall here was built with someone’s hands and someone’s love.
On Saturday, I stood at these doors and watched five years walk in. The clients who trusted me from the beginning. The family who carried me here. The neighbors. The brands. Every person who held this dream with me.
ALUNA 2.0 is here. A bigger home for the same care. Two treatment rooms. A workshop space. A shop. A breath of everything I’ve been quietly building.
I cannot explain how grateful I feel. There is so much love in these walls 🥰
