As the Lion's Gate (8•8) approaches, I find myself becoming still, reflecting on what truly matters.

For me, it is the simple things...

✨ The beauty of a flower
✨ The sound of flowing water
✨ A morning that simply makes you smile
✨ The warmth of friends and family

If we can remember that...
If we can stay in love with life...

Notice the small things.
Don't linger on the rest.

Trust that what needs to unfold will unfold.

Take a breath.
Be grateful...
For life.
For love.

Allow that love to fill your heart.

Then breathe it back into the world,
sharing it with everything and everyone around you.

May we increase love a thousandfold. 💖

Een moment om stil te staan bij wat zichtbaar wil worden.
Niet door harder te gaan.
Maar door aanwezig te zijn bij wat al leeft.

Returning to Your Body
~ healing through connection, safety and embodiment ~

There is a subtle misunderstanding
within many forms of healing and spirituality.

A movement upward.
Outward.
Beyond.

Toward light.
Awareness.
Expansion.

And although those experiences can be deeply real,
something important is often left behind.

Often the body is seen as the obstacle.

The thing that limits us,
holds us back,
or keeps us from something greater.

But perhaps the body was never the obstacle at all.
Perhaps it was always waiting
to be included.

Many people have had spiritual experiences
that opened something within them.

Moments of connection.
Stillness.
Love.
Clarity.

Experiences where the heart opens,
where energy moves,
where something suddenly feels larger than the self.

But opening is not the same
as embodiment.

Because what the body cannot safely hold,
will eventually collapse back into old patterns of protection.
And this is where healing becomes moves beyond the experience.

The body matters.

Not as something separate from spirituality,
but as the place where spirituality becomes lived reality.

True healing is not leaving the body behind.
It is returning safely into it.

Returning into breath.
Into sensation.
Into weight.
Into contact with the ground.

Into a body that no longer has to protect itself
from feeling.

This is why embodiment matters.

Not because the spiritual experience was unreal,
but because the body needs time
to reorganize around what was experienced.

To feel safety.
To soften.
To stay open without collapsing.

Healing becomes real
when the body can finally remain present
with what the heart already knows.

And perhaps this is where spirituality
and embodiment were never truly separate.

Perhaps healing was never about transcending the body at all.
Perhaps it was always about learning
how to fully return to yourself.

To your body.
To your heart.
To your full being.

LEARNING WITH THE TOTEMS
Embodiment through nature and animal wisdom.

Dat wijsheid niet alleen ontstaat vanuit denken, maar ook vanuit luisteren.
Luisteren naar jezelf.

In veel inheemse tradities wordt geleerd dat de natuur voortdurend met ons communiceert. Dieren, planten, stenen, de windrichtingen en de elementen dragen allemaal hun eigen medicijn en wijsheid.

Tijdens deze ceremoniële workshop ontmoeten we één specifieke totem en onderzoeken we welk medicijn deze voor jou draagt.

Via het medicijnwiel, de vier windrichtingen, visualisatie, embodiment, ceremonie en een directe ontmoeting met de totem openen we ons voor de wijsheid van de natuurlijke wereld.

Niet om iets te leren vanuit het hoofd.

Maar om te herinneren wat je diep vanbinnen al weet.

Wat wil deze totem jou laten zien?
Welke kwaliteiten leven er al in jou?
Welke boodschap mag ontvangen worden?
Welke delen van jezelf vragen om meer aandacht, vertrouwen of belichaming?

Een reis van verbinding.
Met jezelf.
Met de natuur.
Met het grote web van leven waar wij allemaal onderdeel van zijn.

"Yoga is toch geen sport?"

Dat hoor ik vaker.

Toch komen deelnemers regelmatig thuis met spierpijn op plekken waarvan ze niet wisten dat ze die hadden.

In Body Awareness Yoga combineren we adem, kracht en bewustzijn.

Real healing is boring to watch.
But powerful to live.

Everyone wants the breakthrough moment.
The glow-up.
The transformation.
The “after” photo.

But real healing doesn’t look cinematic.

• staying instead of running
• sitting with discomfort instead of numbing
• noticing your triggers instead of reacting
