Five years ago, many of our manufacturing processes still relied on paper, manual activities and information managed separately across departments.

Today, that looks very different.

Our 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗔𝗠𝗦) has played a key role in this transformation, helping us take important steps towards fully digital production.

AMS was developed in-house by one of our colleagues and built specifically around the needs of our production environment. It connects people, departments, processes and manufacturing information in one integrated Manufacturing Ex*****on System (MES).

𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿?

✔️ Separate information → connected departments and production
✔️ Looking back → real-time insights into production and performance
✔️ Manual tracking → greater traceability of materials, batches and production activities
✔️ Scattered information → better support for quality, compliance and audit readiness

The result? Manufacturing processes designed to be 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 and 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁, with real-time information supporting our people throughout production.

And the journey continues. The Arion Manufacturing System evolves alongside our manufacturing needs, creating new opportunities for automation, manufacturing intelligence and continuous improvement.

Is an ISO Class 6 cleanroom required to produce bathing gloves and wipes?

No, it’s not.
Producing cosmetics and medical devices in a cleanroom is not mandatory. But at Arion, we have made it a ‘must’ for ourselves.

Why? Because we want to deliver high-quality products.
Product quality depends not only on the product itself, but also on the conditions under which it is produced.

Our production cleanroom is certified as 𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝟲at rest according to 𝗡𝗘𝗡-𝗘𝗡-𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝟭𝟰𝟲𝟰𝟰-𝟭:𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱, helping us maintain a controlled environment with minimal levels of airborne particles. Together with our strict microbiological controls, this helps minimize the risk of microbes and contaminants.

This creates a controlled environment suitable for its intended purpose and supports the high-quality standards we set for our products.

Because quality doesn’t start when a product is used.
It starts with how it is made.

𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲. 😊

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our distribution partners and healthcare professionals from their networks, travelling from Italy, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Panama and Japan, to Arion HQ for a two-day Swash® and Hygie® experience.

Together with colleagues from Didactic - Medical Devices and Hygie, we focused on sharing knowledge, gaining deeper insights and new perspectives.

We started the first day of the program with a tour of our in-house production facilities, followed by training sessions and key takeaways on infection prevention.

On day two, we started at Arion HQ with an insightful presentation, followed by a visit to Zuyderland Hospital, where we saw the theory come to life in real-life practice.

Alongside learning and sharing knowledge, there was plenty of time to connect, exchange ideas and enjoy some good food – bringing together learning, collaboration and great company

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱!

Our colleagues in Production and Logistics are used to keeping things moving. Last week, during their team outing at Powerarea in Lemiers, it was time to pick up the pace in a completely different way.

From speeding around the karting track to getting competitive in the heat of the moment during paintball, there was plenty of action and most importantly, lots of fun. 🏎️💨

Afterwards, it was time to slow down and enjoy some drinks, pizza and fries together.

A great and sporty day focused on working together, strengthening the team and most importantly, having fun together.

🔥 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲? 𝗪𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱. 🌶️

Last week, during a hands-on Fire Safety Workshop, we learned how to respond to a small fire. Divided into groups, we put what we learned straight into practice at the parking area outside Arion.

After putting out the fire, a fiery reward was waiting: crispy chilli oil with a crunch and a bite.🌶️

While some stayed cool under pressure, others enjoyed a tasty BBQ.
Good food, nice music and a relaxed atmosphere made the afternoon a great opportunity to connect with colleagues between the action.
