My passion for massages was born long before 2022, Here are some courses I followed in Italy.
1. Basic Swedish massage - The basic Swedish massage is a relaxing treatment that uses slow, gentle, and deeper movements to relieve muscle tension and improve circulation.
It is ideal for reducing stress, promoting overall well-being, and relaxing the whole body, especially for those experiencing massage for the first time.
2. Deep tissue massage - The deep tissue massage (decontracting massage) is a treatment focused on relieving deep muscle tension and contractures. It uses more intense and targeted techniques than a relaxing massage, especially on areas such as the back, neck, and shoulders.
It is recommended for people with muscle stiffness or pain caused by stress, poor posture, or physical activity, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility.
3. Vodder Lymphatic massage - The Vodder lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle manual technique developed by Emil Vodder. It uses slow, rhythmic, and light movements to stimulate the lymphatic system and help drain excess fluids.
It is ideal for reducing swelling, improving circulation, and promoting overall relaxation.
4. Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage - The Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage is a relaxing and flowing treatment that uses long, continuous strokes, mainly performed with the forearms. Inspired by Hawaiian tradition, it helps release tension, improve circulation, and restore balance and overall well-being.
