Despite its rarity, posterior urethral valves (PUV) remain a significant cause of bladder outlet obstruction in the paediatric population. ERN eUROGEN has commissioned the development of an expert consensus statement. This initiative aims to establish a foundation for future evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and the development of a clinical decision-support tool to optimise the management and long-term care of patients with PUV.

Попри рідкісність, клапани задньої уретри (PUV) залишаються важливою причиною обструкції виходу із сечового міхура в педіатричній практиці. Мережа ERN eUROGEN ініціювала розробку експертного консенсусу. Ця ініціатива має на меті закласти підґрунтя для майбутніх клінічних настанов, що ґрунтуються на доказовій базі, а також для створення інструменту підтримки клінічних рішень з метою оптимізації ведення та довгострокового спостереження пацієнтів із PUV.
