Master Karen Boekholt (Karen Boekholt Paintings) is currently working on a new series of atmospheric seascapes that capture the beauty, power and ever-changing character of the sea.
From carefully masking areas of the canvas to building layer upon layer of foam, light and transparent water, each painting is the result of patient observation and a deep fascination with the ocean. Karen’s work invites us to pause for a moment and experience the tranquility, movement and light found at the shoreline.
