Three gifts of yoga that continue to unfold throughout life:

1. Knowing yourself.
Through practice, we learn to listen, observe, and meet ourselves with honesty and compassion.
2. Freedom in the body.
A body that moves with ease creates space for energy, vitality, and presence.
3. Connection.
Yoga reminds us that we are never separate — from our breath, from nature, or from one another.

The poses are only the doorway. The real practice is how we live, connect, and show up each day.

🙏❤️

Your body is talking. Are you listening?

Many of us spend years living in our heads while the body quietly adapts, compensates, and holds the story.

Tension, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, recurring aches, a feeling of disconnection—these are often not problems to fix, but messages inviting us to pay attention.

This June,
Inner Embassy offers many opportunities to reconnect with the wisdom of the body in different ways.
Here’s what’s coming up.

**Fascia & Movement and Understanding the Secret Behind the Nervous System**

What if the way you move, recover, adapt, and experience strength and flexibility is influenced by a system most people know very little about?

In this experiential workshop, you’ll explore fascia as a whole-body sensory system, understand its relationship with the nervous system, and discover how elasticity, adaptability, strength, and fluidity work together to create more ease and resilience in movement.

This will ultimately change the way you understand your movement in your own body.

Whether you’re looking to learn, restore, or deepen your understanding of the body, these workshops offer practical tools and meaningful insights you can take into everyday life

5 reasons why yoga should be an integral part of your life:

1. Stress is everywhere- yoga becomes a sanctuary away from the world where you can connect to yourself, your breath and your body

2. Movement and stillness (think a strong asana class and a restorative/Yin class) help balance your mind/body connection

3. Yoga at Inner Embassy is a community. We bring together all kinds of people and have all styles of yoga to suit your needs

4. Yoga Nidra, pranayama and Mantra practices help balance the nervous system and let your mind find peace

5. Wellbeing is at the top of the list for balancing your hormones and your immune system. All the yoga practices at Inner Embassy contribute to your daily wellbeing

At Inner Embassy we offer more classes weekly with a variety of styles and a group of highly experienced teachers.
Regular workshops, Kirtan and sound baths to take your practice deeper.
This isn’t boutique or trend based yoga.
This is a place to find your sanctuary, your community and your relationship to you!

🌿✨ SOUND JOURNEY ✨🌿

Step away from the noise of everyday life and enter a world of deep rest, healing, and presence.

Join us for a meditative sound immersion where the vibrations of gongs, singing bowls, handpan, and subtle percussion guide you on an inner journey.

🏔️ Begin in the mystical Tibetan mountains,
🌧️ drift through the soothing sounds of jungle rain,
🏝️ arrive at a peaceful beach,
🌊 dive into the vast ocean,
☀️ and gently return to shore, feeling renewed and restored.

As the sounds wash over you, the mind begins to quiet, the body softens, and the nervous system settles into profound relaxation.

The waves of the gong dissolve tension.
The singing bowls bring balance and harmony.
The warm tones of the handpan invite openness, ease, and connection.

Simply lie down, receive, and allow the sound to carry you into a space beyond thinking—into feeling, resting, and being.

🧘🏼‍♀️About Carry:
I fell in love with yoga some 20 years ago. It brought me a sense of peace and a conscious space for self-connection. I started my teacher training in 2016 with traditional Ashtanga & Hatha yoga teachings in Nepal and then continued my education with Julie Martin in 2018. This added on a new way of moving and relating to my body. I started infusing my classes with mobility practices, using flow, playing with momentum and functional movement.

My focus as a yoga teacher is on holding space for an embodied yoga practice, inviting every-body to move to their own rhythm and capacity, inviting curiosity to what an asana actually feels like for your body. Really working inside > out. Having coped with a stressful job and a burn-out myself, I also know the importance of taking into account the nervous system and having a holistic body-mind approach.

Over the years my yoga mat has always been a place for me to come home to myself, wherever I am in the world or in my life. That’s what I’m looking to create in my classes as well: a place for you to “land” in your body. The magic for me as a teacher is in witnessing just that, and to see faces and bodies softer and more relaxed after class.

I’m looking forward to meeting you on the mat.

Trauma and painful experiences aren’t just memories — they’re stored in our bodies. When we hold back or ignore emotions, our bodies tense up and block our natural flow. This can manifest as anxiety, deep sorrow, physical pain, or feeling stuck in patterns that rob us of perspective and hope. We are offering a new weekly embodied therapy group for you navigating trauma, sensitivity, grief, burnout, spiritual crisis — the persistent feeling of stress or anxiety, or simply to build stronger self-care patterns with personal support.

Each session you can expect gentle yoga practices + guided, reflective inner work based on yoga psychology, the Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems and Ayurveda. The group runs in a 8-session cycle that is repeatable — and you can (re-)enter at any point in the cycle. No yoga experience is needed, and all yoga experiences are welcome. You are invited to come just as you are. We start on June 23!
