Dads, husbands, hard-working men of our space — let's talk about why you're exhausted even after a "full night's sleep."
Chronic stress keeps cortisol elevated, and elevated cortisol disrupts the deep sleep your body relies on to repair itself. Here's the catch — most testosterone production happens during that same deep sleep.
So when sleep suffers, testosterone often suffers right along with it, and the cycle keeps feeding itself.
At the center of all of this is your nervous system. When it's stuck in fight-or-flight — even from stress that isn't "dangerous," just constant — your body has a hard time downshifting into the rest-and-repair state that real sleep requires. That's why so many men feel wired but exhausted, deal with racing thoughts at bedtime, or wake up at 2 or 3am unable to fall back asleep.
It's not a willpower problem or "bad sleep hygiene." It's a nervous system that hasn't had the chance to fully regulate.
This is where chiropractic care comes in. By reducing interference in the nervous system, we help the body shift out of survival mode and into the state it needs to actually rest, recover, and repair — night after night.
If you've been running on empty, your body might be asking for support, not just sleep. We'd love to help you get there.
