Another nice show, we had nice weather and all went smoothly ☀️

Solid as ever. Happy with some improvements on her manouvres.

🔹Mc Smart N Powerfull (Mc Jacs Tuff Girl x Smart N Sparkin)
Was there for his first time and he did great! Had him in training since february and what a nice solid guy he is turning out to be.

-Limited Open 68 (first time one handed aswell)

🔹She is Electifying (Ruffly Whizin Off x Jacs Electric Spark)
Also there for her first time and what a special horse. So awesome! She went arround like she's been there all her life. She shows great promise for the future.

Had a great two-day clinic with several horses from Verena Klein last weekend! 💪
Eventhough it was heckin' cold we learned a lot and got better! It's been busy these past months with many horses to train while dealing with the weather but we just keep at it. Many thanks to Joke Overbeek and Robert Overbeek for organizing the clinic and of course to Verena for her training. Kudos for those who all stayed and watched under a blanket!🥶

Last show of the year is done! DRHA End of the Year show 💪
We had a good time! Some good runs but also some mistakes this time. That's also a part of showing, but I am still very happy with all the horses!👍

🔹'Guns R for Dealin' (own: Jelly Meibos) was there for her second show and did really well, 68 (16th place) Any Horse Any Rider Open and 68,5 (9th place) Snaffle bit Open. She went trough on Saturday with a really busy arena and was still very good.

🔹'Guns and Bubbles' (own: Oak Ranch) did her best, some runs at first that I could not quit get it, but she recoverd at the end and marked a 134,5 in the Snaffle bit even though there was quit a busy arena. So I am proud of her there as well.

🔹Alpha Chexistrash (own: Oak Ranch) did well and we went for it but we had a bobble in the run wich gave us only a 67 and 5the place. Not bad but she can definitly do more. So we will work on making that happen again next time!

🔹'Guns Dun it Smart' (own: Gijsbert de Jong) was also there for her second show and did well. She did not quit mark what she can but she did get more experience, wich is what this sweet girl needs.

Good job to Bert Ferdinands and 'Smart Lighting Dude' on marking a 68 in the Any Horse Any Rider Non Pro! 👏

Overall I had a good showseason this year. I was able to do things consistantly at and arround the shows wich resulted in some wins and good scores wich balances out some runs that did not work out. And in the end I hope all the owners were happy with their horses!
Balancing showing with also doing the Vluggen Institute for Equine Osteopathy is a bit of a challange and means I am away from home even more but the gains from it are definitly worth it! All the horses stayed sound and happy wich is my main foundation. Each show I and every horse gain something as long as you turn it into a positive experience!

I want to thank once again all the people that helped out at the show and of course the owners for their trust in my training.

Had a good time at the NRHA Breeders Futurity with Ruffly Spooking Off!
What a great mare out of 'Ruffly Whizzing Off' by 'Smart Spook'! (owned and bred by Oak Ranch Reining horses) 🤩
Even though unfortunately we did not make the finals. We were still in for most of the 3-Year Old Open class (lvl1), untill at the last rider we just got bumped out by half a point. But hey, that's how that goes.

We actually had a good run in the go-round and no major faults but it was just not quite enough in such a very high level of competitors. But man am I still proud and amazed by how well "Poppie" went arround there at such a big place and did all her manouvres and never even flinched at anything.

I am very gratfull to be able to ride such a nice horse and for the oppertunity to show her at this major event! So many thanks for that and for coming with and all the support at the show from owners Joke Overbeek and Robert Overbeek. 🙏

Now we know what is next: get better for next years show season and raising the bar!💪

NQHA Dutch Championships!
Good show, Horses where great and got some nice rides. Nice to ride AQHA classes again! Thanks for a good time with the people there!

So happy with this horse. Three years old and on her third show. Such a brave mare with a big heart!

DRHA Reining Fever last week!

Was a busy show! The horses did really well for me.
With some nice scores and achievement of some specific goals for each:

🔹"Alpha Chexistrash" (Trashadeous x Chexanicki)
This amazing horse has already earned her stripes in the sport. And now it was my chance to see if I could keep up with her massive fysical talent. Since I started riding her about 6 weeks ago I am very happy with what we got to show.

*Rookie Proffessional score 70, 2nd place!🎖️
*Limited Open score 70, 4th place

🔹"Ruffly Spooking Off" (Ruffly Whizzin Off x Smart Spook)
'Poppie' her second show! This mare I have been fortunate to have from start to where we are now. And I am proud of how stabile, relaxed and correct she does everything at the show showing her talent in the manouvres.

*Novice Horse Open score 69

🔹"Guns and Bubbles" (Bright Barlight x GunnaTrashya)
This sweet big girl also did very good. Getting more confidence and relaxation in the showpenn. Since I started riding her in the spring we had to adapt to eachother. And I think she is starting to trust me so we can start working on her already very talented manouvres.

Both young horses went for their first time show and both did really well, going arround through the pattern easy and building confidence. Both horses I got to start from the ground up and I am proud of their progress. Thanks to both owners for giving me and their horses the opportunity.

⭐Congrats to clients Krista Winters and Bert Ferdinands, both 6th place in the Snaffle Bit Non Pro! And Bert also on his 3rd place in the Green!

⭐Also great work on personal goals for my other clients! Berend Timmermans, Melanie Greven, Evelien Lalesse, Berta Bleijinga, Saskia Aloserij.
For some going on their first show and getting arround clean. And just dealing with show conditions to start with. Or getting some manouvres that were hard a little better. It is a real joy to see horses that I have trained have fun and work out for their owners at the horseshow.
