🇳🇱 Working as a Dentist in the Netherlands: What is the 30% ruling?

Many international dentists consider the Netherlands an attractive destination to develop their professional career. In addition to a highly advanced healthcare system and excellent quality of life, there is also an important tax advantage available for many professionals moving to the country: the 30% ruling.

The 30% ruling is a tax benefit offered by the Dutch government to highly skilled professionals who relocate to the Netherlands for work. If eligible, up to 30% of the gross salary can be received tax-free, which can significantly increase the net income.

For dentists relocating from abroad, this incentive can play an important role when deciding to move. However, eligibility depends on several criteria, such as:
* Being recruited from outside the Netherlands
* Meeting the required minimum salary
* Not having lived in the Netherlands for a prolonged period before employment

For this reason, it is important to receive proper guidance during the recruitment and relocation process.

You need this in the Netherlands to work as a healthcare provider. There are two ways to register:
