यही बैशाख ६ र ७ गते देशभर सञ्चालन हुने राष्ट्रिय भिटामिन 'ए' र जुकाको औषधि खुवाउने कार्यक्रममा आफ्ना बालबालिकालाई सहभागी गराउनुहोला। कतिपय स्थानीय तहले समय र स्थान परिमार्जन गर्न सक्ने भएकोले थप जानकारीका लागि निम्न निकायमा सम्पर्क गर्नुहोस्:

१. कहाँ सम्पर्क गर्ने?
- आफ्नो नजिकैको सहरी स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र, स्वास्थ्य चौकी, वा सरकारी अस्पताल।
- नगरपालिका/गाउँपालिकाको स्वास्थ्य शाखा वा वडा कार्यालय।
- तपाईंको टोलमा खटिनुभएका महिला सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य स्वयंसेविका।
- स्थानीय खोप केन्द्र वा गाउँघर क्लिनिक।

२. औषधि खुवाउने सही र सुरक्षित तरिका (विशेष ध्यान दिनुहोला)
औषधि खुवाउँदा हुने सानो असावधानीले ठूलो दुर्घटना निम्त्याउन सक्छ। बच्चाको ज्यान जोगाउन यी नियमहरू अनिवार्य पालना गर्नुहोस्:

- बसालेर मात्र खुवाउने: बच्चालाई सुताएर वा उत्तानो पारेर कहिल्यै औषधि नखुवाउनुहोस्। सधैं काखमा अढ्याएर वा बसालेर मात्र खुवाउनुहोस्।
- जबरजस्ती नगर्नुहोस्: बच्चा धेरै रोइरहेको, चिच्याइरहेको वा छटपटाइरहेको बेला जबरजस्ती औषधि नकोच्नुहोस्। यसले औषधि श्वासनलीमा सर्केर गम्भीर खतरा हुन सक्छ।
- पिसेर वा धुलो बनाएर खुवाउने: साना बालबालिकालाई जुकाको चक्की (Tablet) सिधै निल्न नलगाउनुहोस्। यसलाई सफा भाँडामा पिसेर, धूलो बनाई थोरै पानी वा दूधमा मिसाएर मात्र खुवाउनुहोस्।
- चपाउन लगाउने: चपाउन सक्ने उमेरका बच्चाहरूलाई बिस्तारै चपाएर खान प्रोत्साहित गर्नुहोस्।
- वा तपाईंको नजिकमा रहनु भएको स्वास्थ्यकर्मीको सल्लाह अनुसार खुवाउने गर्नु होला

३. उपलब्ध सेवाहरू:
- भिटामिन 'ए' क्याप्सुल: ६ महिनादेखि ५ वर्षसम्मका बालबालिकालाई।
जुकाको औषधि: १ वर्षदेखि ५ वर्षसम्मका बालबालिकालाई।
- बालभिटा वितरण: ६ महिनादेखि २ वर्षमुनिका बालबालिकालाई।
- पोषण जाँच: ५ वर्षमुनिका बालबालिकाको पाखुराको नाप (MUAC)।
- हाम्रो प्रतिबद्धता: "हाम्रो सानो सावधानीले बच्चाको भविष्य सुरक्षित हुन्छ। कोही पनि बालबालिका नछुटुन् र कसैले पनि असुरक्षित तरिकाले औषधि नखाउन्।"
