The Safer Anaesthesia From Education (SAFE) Obstetrics programme is a short, interactive continuing professional development (CPD) course developed by the Association of Anaesthetists in collaboration with the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). It focuses on improving safe anesthesia care in low-resource settings, combining lectures, simulations, discussions, and skills practice.

8th batch of SAFE Obstetrics Anesthesia Course in Nepal has been successfully conducted at National Simulation Lab, NAMS, Bir Hospital with joint collaboration of NAMS, Nick Simons Institute and WFSA from 22 - 24 December 2025.
