1. I wake up and sleep according to my body clock
No alarm clocks (most days). I pay attention to my body’s natural rhythm instead of constantly overriding it. Rest is not a reward. It’s a biological need.
2. I follow a sustainable, mindful diet.
No extreme rules. No chasing perfection. I focus on nourishment, consistency, and enjoying food without guilt.
3. I move my body at least 5 times a week
Not to punish myself. Not to earn my meals. Because movement helps me feel stronger, calmer, and more connected to myself.
4. I intentionally do nothing sometimes.
No productivity. No self-improvement. Just rest. I’ve learned that constant stimulation isn’t the same as a meaningful life.
5. I offer help only when I genuinely have the capacity.
Being supportive doesn’t mean being available all the time. Boundaries help me show up with presence instead of resentment.
6. I stay connected with my friends.
A quick call. A voice note. A coffee date. Relationships are part of self-care too.
7. I’ve started being intentional about supplements.
Not as a shortcut to health. As one small piece of supporting my energy, recovery, and overall well-being.
At 33, self-care looks less like luxury and more like:
-Listening to my body
-Protecting my energy
-Nurturing my relationships
-Allowing myself to rest
These small habits help me stay grounded while holding space for others.
